  19. Speed isn't the difference here.  The Micropolis AV drives are designed
  20. specifically for Audio/Video (hence A/V) applications which access large
  21. chunks of data that needs to be continuous.  The problem with the average
  22. hard disk is that "re-calibration" takes place at a certain interval,
  23. which could be in the middle of your animation.  The Micropolis AV drives
  24. somehow manage to perform re-calibration only when not being accessed in
  25. a continuous manner as with audio or video direct to/from the hard disk.
